She Rocks Showcase Rorie has been selected to perform in the "She Rocks" Showcase at the summer NAMM conference in Nashville! The showcase will consist of three select female writers who will perform their music in the round. This event takes place during NAMM's Music Industry Day - the only day of the Summer NAMM show open to the public - so all are welcome to come enjoy this 45 minute performance and hear some of the industry's best writers! Rorie's Guest Vocal on Manny Ytuarte's song "Ducky". Long Island songwriter Manny Ytuarte wrote a beautiful song called "Ducky" about a big sister's advice to a little sister being bullied. rorie is playing shows from Patchogue to Pittsburgh in Spring 2011, both with her band More of the Mess and alone with her purple guitar. She's also teaming up with an all-ladies band to play the Mother of Earth Day Festival at the Brickhouse Brewery on April 22nd. The band includes awesome female Long Island musicians Katie Pearlman, Tara Eberle of Iridesense and Pauline Salotti of Hypnosmoothie.
